Webster Parks and Recreation Summer Camp is a staple in the Webster Community -offering an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, creativity, and friendship! Campers enjoy a variety of activities—arts and crafts, nature exploration, team sports, and outdoor games—all led by enthusiastic counselors who create a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Registration will begin at 9AM
**Waitlist Enrollment information**
If your child is on the waitlist for Summer Camp and a spot becomes available, you will be notified via email. You have forty eight hours from when the email was sent to register your child either online or by calling our office. After forty eight hours your child will be removed from the waitlist and we will offer that spot to the next participant. Payment in full is required to secure a spot in Summer Camp.
PRESCHOOL CAMP (3 - 5 years old): This camp is for children ages 3 - 5 that have not yet entered Kindergarten. Children will enjoy games, crafts, music, playing outside, special guest visits and more! Children MUST be completely potty trained. PLAYGROUND CAMP (5 - 9 years old): Our half day summer camp experience is fun for 5 - 9 years old! This outdoor camp will provide a safe, fun, and active program for your child. Each day we will be using the Miracle Field playground, play games on the turf field, hike on the Hickey Bark Woods Trail, water games, crafts, and visits from special guests. Each child must bring lunch, snacks, water bottle, and wear sneakers and sunscreen every day. Drop off is 9am and pick up is promptly at 2pm. K - 5 Camp @ Webster Recreation Center: Our K-5 Full Day Camps will be held at 2 locations again this year. This camp will provides a safe, fun, and active program for children who have completed Kindergarten through children who have completed 5th grade. Children are grouped by their grade and rotate through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Campers may be dropped off anytime between the hours of 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM and picked up between the hours of 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM. Campers must bring a lunch, morning and afternoon snack, water bottle, and wear sneakers and sunscreen every day. You MUST UPDATE your household's emergency and medical information in our Web Trac system when your register your child for camp. 5th GRADE TRIP CAMP & 6th - 8th GRADE TRIP CAMP
Webster Parks and Recreation is offering a weekly field-trip camp to exciting locations for kids who have COMPLETED grades 5-8. Each 4-day session is Monday-Thursday and includes a variety of thrilling destinations each week. Slightly different from the 6-8th grade trip camp, 5th grade campers will be supervised by our dedicated staff, the campers will be required/expected to stay with their assigned counselor and remain with them the entirety of the day. While the 6-8th grade campers will be required/expected to exhibit personal responsibility and independence within specific boundaries and time frames set by staff. Camper arrival and departure is according to each day's trip.
Some days we may visit two locations and some days only one, depending on the location and the activity. Please refer to the camp calendar for schedule of specific trip destinations! All admission fees and transportation are included in the weekly rate. Camper arrival and departure is according to each day's trip which will be released before the start of the first week. Most trips depart between 9-10 am and return between 3-5 pm.
Campers can come to the Recreation center before and after trips between 8 am -5 pm. Webster Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to weather or other circumstances. All trips may be subject to change. Fees will NOT be pro-rated or refunded for missed days. Mixing and matching trips are not allowed. The required camper paperwork must be returned no later than the Friday prior to the camp start date. Please email Traci Ruffell at truffell@websterny.gov if you have any questions.
