Chief Dennis Kohlmeier has been the Chief of Police for the Town of Webster since March 2021. Prior to that, he worked in the private sector for several years after retiring from the Webster Police Department as a lieutenant in 2018. Dennis has also been a member of the West Webster Fire Department since 1994, currently as a Social Member. He is also a Veteran, having served as an enlisted airborne infantry soldier with the 82nd Airborne during OIF I. Dennis also holds a Master of Public Administration from the College at Brockport, Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 267. Dennis also holds several certifications as a police instructor, including general topics, firearms, defensive tactics and reality-based training.
