Tom Flaherty has been a Webster resident since October 1997. Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY (1987) and obtained his CPA designation in 1991.
In 1995, Tom founded FFC Mortgage (originally Flaherty Funding Corp.) that he ran until January 2019, employing over 100 local employees throughout the years and sponsoring a number of local charities, events and organizations.
Tom has served on countless Boards and committees including Bishop Kearney High School, School of the Holy Childhood, Webster Youth Hockey, St. Rita Parish Finance and an active volunteer in the Big Brother/Little Brother program. He has coached a number of teams for WAA Baseball and Webster Youth Hockey. He was named an esteemed RBJ 40-under-40 and the Irish Parade Committee’s Irish Businessman of the Year.
Tom has been married to his wife, Molly, for over 22 years. They have seven children, all raised in Webster, who range in ages from 10-22.
